As a Banqueting Manager at La Residencia, a Belmond hotel, you will lead the creation of extraordinary moments, crafting bespoke events that resonate with elegance and precision. You will expertly guide clients and internal teams through every stage, ensuring meticulous planning, seamless execution, and unwavering adherence to high standards. You will meet with clients to prepare proposals and schedules, coordinating extensively with all internal departments for event planning. Supervise all aspects of event setup and service delivery, resolving operational challenges while ensuring standards are met. Act as the primary contact, guiding clients from planning through execution for complete satisfaction.
Assign tasks and supervise the banqueting team's performance, ensuring compliance with service and hygiene protocols. Foster a culture built on kindness, active listening, and genuine connections with colleagues and guests. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; 2 to 3 years preferred
- Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Consistent kindness and professionalism in all interactions
- Superior organizational and time-management skills
- Proven ability to identify and maximize sales opportunities within events
