Guest Room Attendant

The Guest Room Attendant cleans and stocks guest rooms to ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel. This role supports the overall guest experience by maintaining tidy, well-prepared spaces. Work centers on consistent adherence to established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Daily duties include cleaning bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors with appropriate agents and tools. Attendants strip and remake beds, dust furniture and ledges, vacuum rooms, and empty trash. They also replenish linens, amenities, and supplies while inspecting each room for appearance and completion.

The position operates within the Hotel department under the Housekeeping Supervisor. Attendants sign out keys, manage heavy carts, and follow key control and chemical handling policies. They respond promptly to guest requests and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues immediately.

Team members maintain professional appearance and an even disposition while communicating in English with guests and coworkers. The role requires willingness to assist colleagues and comply with attendance standards for reliable operations.
