Laundry Attendant

About this role

Requirements

• Proficiency in operating industrial washers, dryers, and presses
• Ability to inspect linen and clothing for stains, damage, or wear
• Knowledge of fabric care and brand standards for hotel linens
• Physical ability to lift, sort, fold, and distribute heavy laundry loads
• Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene protocols in laundry operations
• Attention to detail for maintaining organised laundry environments
• Discretion and accuracy in handling guest personal items

Responsibilities

• Process hotel linen, towels, guest clothing, and staff uniforms in line with brand standards
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and presses
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and report issues promptly
• Sort, fold, and distribute clean linen to Housekeeping and other departments
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry room at all times
• Support inventory checks and stock rotation
• Handle guest laundry with care, accuracy, and discretion
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene policies
