Clean rooms according to Sandman Hotels standards, check under beds and closets for left-behind items, and restock amenities like terry, soap, glasses, and coffee. Handle laundry tasks by collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding linens, towels, and table linens. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and suspicious activities promptly to supervisors.

Requirements

No education or experience required, we will train one on one
Ability to follow instructions
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Professional appearance and manners
Excellent customer relations
Must have time-management skills
Adaptable to change and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure

Responsibilities

Clean rooms according to Sandman Hotels standards
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products and correct handling procedures
Respond to guests and staff inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
Record all lost property items on worksheet and hand in to Supervisor/Manager at end of shift
Report all maintenance and safety hazards promptly to Supervisor/Manager
Perform laundry tasks including collect, sort, transport, wash, dry, and fold linens and towels
Stock linen supply room with clean linens for next day
Check under bed, drawers, and closet for left behind articles and trash
