Responsible for efficient and orderly cleaning of assigned guest rooms, you handle both stay-over and check-out rooms thoroughly. Daily tasks include changing linens, replenishing amenities, and folding linen while following OSHA regulations for chemicals. Flexibility for varied shifts including weekends and holidays is essential.

Working within a large resort environment, you collaborate with staff to deliver exceptional service to guests. Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities help manage the demands of cleaning at least fourteen rooms each day. Effective communication builds positive relationships throughout the property.

Requirements

  • Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a large resort.

Responsibilities

  • Clean assigned rooms daily.
  • Service all stay over rooms by changing sheets and pillow covers daily and replenishing towels and amenities as needed.
  • Clean all check out rooms thoroughly by changing sheets, pillow covers, bath rugs, and towels and replenishing amenities as needed.
  • Provide guests with extra towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, note pads, and other items when requested.
  • Fold linen daily and load cart per specifications.
  • Transport caddie containing supplies, brushes, and rags daily.
  • Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces according to OSHA regulations.
  • Clean at least fourteen rooms every day.
