The Facilities Maintenance Housekeeper ensures cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of club facilities indoors and outdoors.

This role performs routine cleaning tasks like vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, dusting furniture, and wiping down surfaces including HVAC registers and artwork. Address immediate cleanliness concerns in restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, and common spaces. Complete daily assignments to meet club standards, such as picking up trash and organizing work areas.

Report to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and communicate effectively to coordinate work requests from department heads, members, and guests. Assist in maintenance repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and special projects. Maintain a checklist for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements.

Due to the club's dynamic nature, assist others as needed and follow all policies and safety guidelines. Maintain professionalism in interactions with members and colleagues. Take initiative for personal growth, attend briefings, and resolve challenges with regional support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks in restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, and common spaces
  • Skills in basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building equipment
  • Attention to detail for maintaining club standards in cleanliness and organization
  • Physical ability to vacuum, mop, dust, and handle maintenance tasks across indoor and outdoor areas
  • Knowledge of safe working practices and compliance with safety guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Maintain carpets clean by vacuuming and spot cleaning where necessary
  • Keep all floors swept, mopped, and polished, including courts, exercise rooms, stairwells, lobby and hallway areas, restrooms
  • Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, chair arms, desks, credenzas, chandeliers, pictures, televisions, woodwork, artwork, and ceiling HVAC registers
  • Complete daily assignments to meet club standards, including orderly work areas, straightening entry areas, picking up trash and debris
  • Perform facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, flooring, walls, ceilings, and special projects
  • Maintain a maintenance and project checklist for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate, prioritize, document, and complete work requests from department heads, members, and guests
