This full-time role reports to the Executive Housekeeper, supervising the team to ensure effective systems, daily checklists, rosters, attendance, and productivity. Deliver hands-on leadership, drive guest satisfaction beyond expectations, ensure WHS compliance, and collaborate with departments for smooth service transitions. Empower individuals to develop and maintain good practices while assisting in on-the-job training.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Supervisory role in housekeeping operations in the hotel industry
Strong leadership skills and a natural flair in motivating others
A passion for developing team skills in all aspects of onboarding and training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with guest service focus
Attention to detail second to none
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work and make decisions under pressure
Ability to work across a full time schedule

Responsibilities

Supervise the Housekeeping team to ensure effective systems and operational procedures including daily checklists are actioned
Monitor rosters, attendance and productivity of the team
Empower individuals to ensure good practices are developed and maintained
Drive Rooms guest satisfaction by empowering teams to provide service beyond guests' expectations
Deliver hands-on supervisory leadership across areas
Ensure compliance with WHS processes and procedures
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth transition of services
Assist in on-the-job department and staff training
