The Room Attendant maintains clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests at Homewood Suites Corpus Christi.

Daily tasks include thoroughly cleaning guestrooms according to standards, completing pre-cleaning duties like setting up housekeeping carts with supplies and linens, and removing trash and dirty linens from rooms and hallways.

Room Attendants keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed, restock carts, replenish chemicals, and report missing items or maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor. They handle lost and found items per standards to ensure overall guest satisfaction.

With an executive team of seasoned hospitality leaders and offices worldwide, Highgate offers a dynamic environment for those able to stand entire shifts and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally in a service-oriented setting.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
Ability to stand during entire shift
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
Attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness standards
Reliability in reporting maintenance and missing items promptly

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use
Replenish chemical bottles
Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
