Banquet Servers take accurate food orders from guests or ensure buffets are stocked appropriately. They monitor food distribution to deliver meals correctly with proper preparation and presentation. Refreshing drinks and assisting with bussing tables are key daily tasks.

Requirements

Minimum of High School education
Minimum of one year in hotel/restaurant serving role
Food safety certification preferred
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Team player able to exceed expectations of guests and team members
Excellent time management skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts

Responsibilities

Take accurate food orders from guests or ensure buffet is stocked appropriately
Monitor food distribution, ensuring meals are delivered to correct recipients and properly prepared and presented
Refresh drinks for guests
Assist with bussing tables
Set up banquet tables and buffets for events
Clear and reset tables between courses or events
Provide attentive service during banquets and functions
Perform various other duties as assigned
