About this role

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Server to join our team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Riverfront Jax. Our mission is to exude hospitality, be respectful and authentic, and continuously strive to make a positive impact in all we do.

In this role, you will take accurate food orders from guests and ensure the buffet is stocked appropriately. You will monitor food distribution, ensuring meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented.

You will refresh drinks, assist with bussing tables, and perform various other duties as assigned. We are passionate hoteliers eager to add like-minded people to our rapidly growing team.

Requirements

Minimum of one year in a hotel or restaurant serving role
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Team player with a service-oriented mindset
Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
Excellent time management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

Take accurate food orders from guests and/or ensure buffet is stocked appropriately
Monitor food distribution, ensuring meals are delivered to correct recipients and food is properly prepared and nicely presented
Refresh drinks for guests throughout the event
Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes
Set up and break down banquet tables and service areas as needed
Perform various other duties as assigned
