The Area Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of multiple hotel properties in the Romulus, Michigan area. This role ensures that each property is functioning safely, efficiently, and in accordance with brand standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical skills.
Daily work involves routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems across several sites. Regular property inspections identify maintenance needs and safety concerns while prompt responses handle service requests. Coordination with third-party vendors supports specialized repairs when needed.
The technician supports preventative maintenance programs and seasonal upkeep at properties managed by Peachtree Group Hospitality Management. Accurate records of maintenance work, service schedules, and equipment warranties must be maintained. On-call availability rotates for emergency situations.

Requirements
- 3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hospitality or multi-property environment.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel daily between hotels in the Romulus area.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with hotel management and staff.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability for occasional evening/weekend emergency calls.
Responsibilities
