About this role
Our friendly and attentive Weekend Hotel Night Auditor is committed to going the extra mile to deliver high-quality service to guests while performing nightly balancing duties, daily paperwork and shift reports related to the property's business transactions. This role requires availability for Friday and Saturday overnight shifts from 10pm-6am. All shifts are overnight.
Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations ensuring accuracy of the property's financial and accounting records. Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner. Provide the highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs.
Promptly handle guest service requests and guest complaints to meet and exceed guest expectations. Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of hotel night audit experience
- Ability to work overnight from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
- Understanding of general accounting practices and ability to compile facts and figures
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation
- Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-up abilities
- Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve
Responsibilities
- Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations
- Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner
- Provide highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs
- Promptly handle guest service requests and guest complaints to meet and exceed guest expectations
- Make reservations, check-in and check-out guests, process payments
- Perform tasks such as answering phones, maintain a cash drawer, operate office equipment
- Ensure guest and property safety by knowing all safety, security and emergency procedures
