About this role

As a Banquet Server at Caesars Entertainment, you will be responsible for serving meals and beverages to patrons in a prompt, correct, and courteous fashion. You will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for guests at events and banquets.

Your day-to-day duties include setting up banquet areas, helping set tables, and preparing rooms for guests. You will maintain a clean and neat work area while demonstrating sanitary food handling and equipment safety, following County, State, and Federal regulations.

You will work in a fast-paced, highly populated environment, often in a smoking establishment, and must be able to handle the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This position performs work outside the gaming space, with some duties in back-of-house areas.

Requirements

Previous serving experience required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including as directed by department management.
Must have a neat and clean appearance and be outgoing.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must have the manual dexterity to cut, slice, whisk, grab, grip, type, pull, hold, tear, sort, and reach.
Must be able to work in a smoking environment and in a highly populated, fast-paced, noisy environment.
Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude, and the ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees, and outside contacts.

Responsibilities

Serve meals and beverages to patrons in a prompt, correct, and courteous fashion.
Demonstrate sanitary food handling and equipment safety, properly store and label food items, and maintain standards of sanitation and food handling based on County, State, and Federal regulations.
Maintain a clean and neat work area, set up banquet area, and help set tables and prepare rooms for guests.
Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
Foster a fun environment and be gracious to all guests and co-workers.
Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events.
Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
Ensure that behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.
