The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily operations of the housekeeping department at an OAK property. This position ensures every accommodation unit, restroom, and public space meets high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.
The supervisor determines staffing needs, assigns daily tasks, and conducts regular inspections of all guest areas. They train team members on proper cleaning techniques, maintain supply inventory, and complete maintenance requests according to priority. Quality control and adherence to health and safety regulations remain central to every shift.
The role requires close coordination with the General Manager and other departments to support smooth campground operations. The supervisor communicates daily activities, addresses service issues promptly, and helps maintain a positive, team-oriented environment across the property.

Requirements
- Ability to monitor work activities and quality-inspect housekeeping tasks.
- Experience assigning duties and training team members on cleaning standards.
- Skill in maintaining stock levels and ordering cleaning supplies.
- Capability to investigate service complaints and take corrective action.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a hospitality setting.
- Ability to prepare reports on efficiency, scheduling, and attendance.
Responsibilities
- Determine the number of housekeepers needed to complete tasks within specific time periods.
- Train new employees on proper techniques for cleaning accommodation units and washing laundry.
- Conduct regular inspections of restrooms, accommodation units, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness.
- Oversee and complete maintenance requests in a timely manner and in order of priority.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and order replacements when needed.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Aid the GM with hiring and training a diverse team and updating on team performance.
- Prepare reports relating to procedures, efficiency, scheduling, and attendance.
