The Part Time Night Auditor serves guests at the front desk with the highest level of service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner. Follow Onix standards of aggressive hospitality throughout all stages of the guest's stay.

Determine guest reservation status, complete registration cards, assign rooms accommodating special requests, and verify payment methods using established credit-checking procedures. Update room status reports with housekeeping, coordinate maintenance requests, and manage guest room keys and safe deposit boxes. Be sales minded, present room options, and know property activities and services.

Work the Night Audit shift checklist for all PMS responsibilities, ensure building security by walking the entire property, locking doors, and handling noise complaints. Check in and check out guests following Onix Hospitality standards and cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of front desk, back-office, and computer equipment at all times.

Report to work on time in proper clean uniform with name tag, conforming to personal appearance standards. Stay knowledgeable about daily operations, event sheets, new procedures, loyalty Rewards, and frequent traveler programs. Requirements

  • Any combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Grade school education preferred
  • Food safety certification as required
  • Knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, event sheets, bulletin boards, changes, new procedures, and events
  • Knowledgeable about loyalty Rewards and other frequent traveler programs
  • Ability to work graveyard shift on time in proper clean uniform including name tag
  • Personal appearance and grooming conforming to standards
  • Sales minded with ability to present options and assist guests in making choices

Responsibilities

  • Serve guests at the front desk providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Determine guest's reservation status and assign rooms accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • Verify guest's method of payment and follow established credit-checking procedures
  • Work closely with housekeeping department to keep room status reports up to date and coordinate maintenance requests
  • Perform Night Audit shift checklist for all PMS related job responsibilities
  • Ensure security of the building by walking the entire property, locking doors, and handling noise complaints
  • Check in and check out all guests according to Onix Hospitality standards and cash handling procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front desk, back-office area, and computer equipment at all times
