About this role

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
• Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment is an asset, with proven ability to provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Good computer literacy with experience and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Detail oriented, organized, focused on quality, with effective time management skills
• Highly responsible and reliable, demonstrating initiative as required
• Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Available to work varied shifts including days, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently through daily operations
• Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department to maintain service standards
• Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas
• Participate actively in daily briefings, warm-ups, and department meetings
• Ensure Room Attendants are informed daily about priorities in their section
• Proactively address day-to-day operational concerns and determine appropriate solutions
• Assist with training and introduction of new team members, and performance management
• Comply with all safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe working environment
