As a Housekeeping Supervisor at the vibrant Moxy Vanderbilt Hillsboro Village Hotel, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. You will supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Your day-to-day tasks include assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and monitoring performance to ensure adherence to established standards. You will assist in coordinating daily housekeeping operations such as room cleaning, public area maintenance, and inventory management.

Team leadership is at the core of this role. You will train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards, and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

You will conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols and address any deficiencies promptly. By fostering a positive guest experience through a clean and comfortable environment, you contribute to the hotel's vibrant atmosphere.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in Housekeeping.
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and use of cleaning equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate tasks and interact with guests and team members.
  • Proficiency in using housekeeping management software or similar systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the hotel's operational needs.
