Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills, able to read, write, and speak fluently.
  • Customer service background preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate computer, cash register, and calculator.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or independently, solving problems independently.
  • Ability to project a professional image through appearance, dress, and behavior.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts (2-10pm or 3-11pm).
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and manipulate items up to 50 pounds, and to stand for prolonged periods while working on a computer.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage front desk operations to minimize check-in and checkout time.
  • Warmly and professionally welcome all guests.
  • Direct guests to appropriate hotel staff for assistance with food, laundry, concierge, or housekeeping needs.
  • Treat guest requests with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of final bills to guests.
  • Ensure the lobby and shared areas are neat and orderly.
  • Keep updated knowledge of hotel policies, room rates, discounts, special offerings, and community events.
  • Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, local area, and hotel offerings.
