Marriott International

Oxon Hill, US · Full-time · $31,000 – $39,000

About this role

As a Night Auditor at Marriott International, you will be the heartbeat of overnight hotel operations, ensuring a seamless transition from one business day to the next. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, guest service, and working independently during the late-night hours.

Your shift will involve completing end-of-day activities such as posting charges to accounts, running the night audit backup, and rolling the date. You will process all payment types, handle adjustment and correction vouchers, and print contingency lists to maintain a complete record of all guests in case of emergency.

Beyond the audit, you will sell rooms to walk-in guests based on availability, operate the telephone switchboard, process wake-up calls, and manage guest check-ins and room assignments. You will also activate or reissue room keys and count your bank at the end of each shift, ensuring all receipts are balanced and dropped per Accounting specifications.

Marriott fosters a professional, inclusive environment where associates support one another to achieve common goals. This role offers a stable, entry-level path into hotel operations, with opportunities to build experience in front desk procedures, accounting, and guest relations within a globally recognized brand.
