Nestled in one of the most stunning alpine settings in the Canadian Rockies, Sunshine Village offers an unforgettable backdrop for your next role. As a Bell Desk Agent, you will create a warm and professional environment that delights guests from arrival to departure.

Your day-to-day involves safe handling and delivery of guest luggage and equipment, coordinating with the Front Desk and Warehouse to ensure smooth flow within guaranteed times. You’ll efficiently answer guest inquiries, store ski gear, and even help remove snow from roofs and walkways.

This role offers growth through cross-training and the opportunity to earn on-hill tracked vehicle and snowmobile licenses. You’ll also participate in hotel guest activities, building skills that can advance your hospitality career.

Requirements

  • Passion for providing excellent guest service.
  • Previous service or hotel experience with demonstrated excellent guest service.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; reliable, a team player, and able to use own initiative.
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Ability to complete training and testing for on-hill tracked vehicle license and snowmobile license.
  • Provide a clean driver’s abstract and license prior to start of employment (abstract no older than 30 days).
  • Ability to perform manual labor, heavy lifting (up to 30 kg), pushing/pulling (up to 45 kg), and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding guest service in a warm and professional environment.
  • Receive and deliver guest luggage and other items to and from hotel rooms, coordinating with Front Desk and Warehouse.
  • Store and retrieve guest equipment from ski storage efficiently.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding area attractions and hotel services and facilities.
  • Remove snow from roofs and walkways to maintain safe access.
  • Maintain public areas of the hotel including the ski storage area.
  • Cross-train for other hotel roles such as front desk or night audit.
  • Participate in the operation of hotel guest activities as needed.
