Servers greet guests, present menus, and share details on specials, menu changes, food, beverages, and allergies. They input orders via POS system, relaying them to kitchen staff and bartenders. Wine and beer service includes presenting, opening, and pouring for guests.

Coordination happens with hosts, table support team, kitchen staff, and bartenders to manage stations effectively. Servers assist by stocking workstations, clearing used dishes, and resetting silverware. Counter-service roles include cash register duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures
Excellent communication skills
Basic math skills
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting

Responsibilities

Greet guests and present them with the menu
Inform guests of specials, menu changes, and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and allergies
Receive food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system
Communicate with hosts, table support team, kitchen staff, and bartenders to coordinate stations
Present, open, and pour wine and beer when serving guests
Assist table support team with stocking workstations, removing and resetting used dishes and silverware
Assist with cash register at counter-service restaurants
Perform other duties as required or assigned
