About this role
Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is a leading Meetings and Events Hotel with 32 conference, event and meeting rooms, including the Westminster Ballroom for up to 1,400 delegates theatre style. The Meetings & Events Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day delivery and performance of this large-scale, high-volume operation.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will ensure the seamless execution of events while balancing hands-on delivery with proactive initiatives to drive operational performance and guest experience. You will lead event day operations, coordinating banquet, AV, and service teams to deliver flawless execution from setup to breakdown.
This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and aligned delivery across all departments. You will act as the on-site operational point of contact for clients, managing real-time requests and ensuring a high level of satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Proven experience within Meetings & Events operations, hospitality, or a similar high-volume environment
- Experience managing conference and event delivery in complex venues
- Background in leading operational teams and supporting service excellence
- Exposure to financial processes such as cost control and productivity management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams
- Hands-on approach with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to perform under pressure
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of the Meetings & Events operation in a complex, high-volume environment
- Oversee the setup and execution of events, ensuring rooms are arranged to precise client specifications for AV, staging, seating, and décor
- Lead event day operations, coordinating banquet, AV, and service teams to deliver seamless execution from setup to breakdown
- Manage event logistics and service flow, including timings, transitions, and alignment across operational teams
- Ensure all event spaces are maintained, clean, and ready for service with efficient turnaround between events
- Act as the on-site operational point of contact for clients, managing real-time requests and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and aligned delivery across all departments
