An opportunity has arisen for a Casual Room Attendant to join The Lowndes Hotel, a boutique hotel located in Belgravia, one of London's most exclusive neighbourhoods. This role involves ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the required standard of a luxury establishment.

The main duties include cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms, guest corridors, and all fixtures and fittings. The attendant must report any complaints, accidents, or maintenance faults immediately to the supervisor or duty manager. Flexibility to extend job duties as needed is expected.

The ideal candidate should be a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the hotel's cleanliness and presentation. Professionalism in interactions with guests and fellow staff members is crucial to contribute positively to the overall atmosphere. Previous experience in a London hotel is preferred, and a keen eye for detail is essential.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel, preferably in London.
A team player who works collaboratively with colleagues to maintain cleanliness and presentation.
Demonstrated professionalism in interactions with guests and fellow staff members.
Previous experience as a Housekeeping Porter is desirable.
A keen eye for detail to ensure every aspect of guest rooms and public areas is immaculate.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all assigned areas, including guest bedrooms and bathrooms, corridors, and fixtures, are cleaned and maintained to the required standard.
Be fully aware of the work schedule and provide adequate notice if all work cannot be carried out.
Report any complaints, accidents, equipment malfunctions, maintenance faults, suspicious persons, safety hazards, or other incidents immediately to the supervisor or duty manager.
Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable responsibilities as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments or areas if required.
Attend training and meetings as and when required.
Assist in maximizing productivity for the department.
