The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all facility systems. This role requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at multitasking.

The supervisor utilizes strong critical-thinking skills to develop innovative, practical solutions for both routine and complex challenges. Emphasis is placed on safety, operational effectiveness, budget-conscious decision making, and high-quality workmanship throughout all activities.

This position leads and coordinates the activities of small groups of maintenance personnel. The supervisor collaborates closely with team members, gathers input from various stakeholders, and consistently evaluates processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

A successful candidate promotes a safe, efficient, positive workplace while managing multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational and planning capabilities.

Requirements

  • Skilled at managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Personnel leadership, schedule and work hours
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
  • Circuit design, load planning troubleshooting, and installation for 480V & 208V three-phase, low-voltage AC/DC
  • Experience with motors, drives, lighting systems, switchboards, circuit boards, relays, controllers, PLCs
  • Structural steel and sheet metal fabrication; MIG/TIG/stick welding; brazing/soldering
  • Operation of brake, shear, roll, ironworking tools, lathe, Bridgeport, and drill presses
