About this role

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites and the Grand Prairie Events Center. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping all equipment in good working order with routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks.

Your day-to-day work includes assisting the Chief Engineer on building and grounds maintenance, performing routine repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance checks. You will provide a safe environment for guests and staff by meeting all safety standards and providing professional, courteous service to accommodate various requests.

As a team player, you will assist other departments when help is needed. You must be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and aware of all Job Safety Analysis guides to ensure a safe and professional environment for everyone.

Requirements

Previous maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial building, or similar environment
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Ability to provide professional and courteous service to guests
Knowledgeable of emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides
Ability to work as part of a team and assist other departments when needed
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities
