About this role

At Wilderness Resort, the largest waterpark resort in America, we are seeking a dedicated Attractions Maintenance Technician to join our family-owned team. This role ensures the installation, inspection, and repair of various attractions and arcade equipment for a safe, enjoyable guest experience.

Day-to-day, you will open and inspect the Take Flight attraction, complete required checklists, and diagnose equipment issues to meet uptime targets. You will also refurbish games, monitor payout systems, and maintain go-karts, ropes courses, and Clip 'n Climb walls.

Requirements

  • Hardworking, dependable, and enthusiastic with a customer service-driven mindset.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues, including wiring, soldering, and computer/mechanical problems.
  • Strong communication skills for training, coaching, purchasing, and guest interactions.
  • Capability to respond promptly and calmly in high-pressure or emergency situations.
  • Adherence to all safety protocols and timely reporting of violations or injuries.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance checklists, inspection forms, and documentation.
  • Availability to work day, night, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Open and inspect Take Flight attraction daily to ensure operational readiness and guest safety.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues to meet or exceed targeted uptime metrics.
  • Refurbish attractions and arcade games per manufacturer specifications and maintain state licensing.
  • Conduct daily inspections of all arcade games and adjust payouts and meters as needed.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and semi-annual inspections for indoor and outdoor go-karts.
  • Maintain ropes course integrity, including painting, installing elements, and completing quarterly/annual inspections.
  • Coordinate with vendors for technical support, parts, and escalated issue resolution.
