Campus Life at Macquarie University seeks experienced Food & Beverage Attendants for Ubar on a casual basis. Ubar is a multi-facet venue offering a fully licensed bar, gourmet stone-fired pizza, and barista-made coffee. Deliver excellent food and beverage service ensuring quality, hygiene, and great experiences for students and visitors.

Engage with new and regular customers in a polite and friendly manner. Take orders, prepare, and serve food and drinks while working in a fun yet fast-paced environment. Ensure customers leave happy with positive feedback about you and the outlet.

Join a friendly and supportive team at Ubar. All successful applicants receive training in bar, pizza kitchen, and coffee. Access extensive Macquarie University facilities including a high-tech library and campus train station.

Requirements

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
Legally entitled to work in Australia
Previous experience in coffee making
Demonstrated customer service experience
Understanding of food handling procedures and HACCP standards
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
Prior bar or restaurant experience (desirable)
Qualification in Food Safety (desirable)
