About this role

CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs succeed in online food delivery by transforming underutilized properties into smart kitchens. As an Associate Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations at a cloud kitchen facility, ensuring facility maintenance and onboarding new partners.

You will lead a dedicated facility team, handling scheduling, training, and performance management. The role involves managing order fulfillment, janitorial teams, and upholding health and safety regulations. You will also conduct routine inspections and maintenance audits on HVAC, refrigeration, and other equipment.

You will cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork across departments. Collaborate with management and peers using data to drive decisions while managing the facility P&L and reporting KPI metrics.

Requirements

  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation protocols and local health regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L and report KPI metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining partner relationships.
  • Ability to lead sales tours and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Familiarity with basic building maintenance and willingness to learn with support from subject matter experts.
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities and coordinate with external vendors for specialized services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and train a dedicated facility team, handling scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Manage an efficient order fulfillment process and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Uphold cleaning and sanitation protocols, ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Lead facility tours and proactively engage with restaurants as part of relationship building and sales pitches.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for restaurant partners, building trusting relationships and solving issues.
  • Quarterback the onboarding process for new restaurant partners, including permits and delivery platform setup.
  • Review and report KPI metrics to facility management and contribute to goal setting.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance audits on HVAC, refrigeration, water heaters, and ice machines.
