About this role

The Little Nell, Aspen's only Five-Star, Five-Diamond ski-in/ski-out hotel, seeks a Front Desk Agent to welcome and register guests. This role is central to delivering the personalized service that defines this Relais & Châteaux resort, renowned for its award-winning wine and culinary programs.

Day-to-day, you will coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to fulfill requests, while also recommending restaurants and activities tailored to each guest's interests. Additional duties include maintaining the cash bank, accepting reservations, and assisting with emergency procedures as needed.

You will join a dedicated team at a property with two restaurants, three bars, a wine cellar, and a speakeasy, plus a new spa rooted in 'The Aspen Idea.' The work environment is fast-paced yet collaborative, emphasizing proactive attention to detail and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Attentive, proactive, and dedicated to enhancing the overall guest experience
  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality setting
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software
  • Knowledge of Aspen area activities, dining, and attractions to provide local recommendations
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a cash bank
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide summary of hotel amenities and services offered
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to fulfill guest requests
  • Recommend restaurants and activities based on guests’ interests and skill levels
  • Maintain cash bank and perform daily settlement of transactions
  • Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations
  • Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
