About this role
Big White Ski Resort, located 56 km southeast of Kelowna in British Columbia, is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our Hotels team for the Winter 2026/27 season. As the face of the resort, you will greet and register guests from around the world while working in a fast-paced, ski-in/ski-out village environment.
Your day-to-day involves conducting guest check-ins and check-outs, making walk-in reservations, processing payments, and running end-of-shift audit reports. You will also answer a high volume of incoming calls, assist guests with questions about mountain events and conditions, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
You will collaborate closely with departments including Groups, Transportation, Housekeeping, Owner Relations, and Maintenance to ensure a seamless guest experience. The Front Desk is the hub for all property guests, consistently busy with interaction, requiring a professional and energetic approach.
This full-time seasonal role offers the unique opportunity to live and work in one of Canada's most amazing natural settings, with access to 16 lifts, 119 runs, and North America's highest outdoor skating rink. Requirements
- Previous front desk or customer service experience

Responsibilities
- Conduct Direct, Travel Trade, and Group guest check-ins and check-outs following all correct procedures
- Make walk-in reservations ensuring all bookings adhere to Big White Central Reservations payment and cancellation policies
- Take cash, credit card, and debit card payments when necessary
- Run daily end-of-shift audit reports and complete daily shift audit
- Answer and direct a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and consistent manner
- Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests, keeping up to date on all current mountain events and conditions
- Troubleshoot all guest issues and assist in handling guest complaints
- Communicate effectively with all departments, including Groups, Transpo, Housekeeping, Owner Relations, and Maintenance
