About this role
Lead operations for a full-service hotel under construction and scheduled to open November 2026. Oversee all aspects including financial performance, staff management, and compliance with KHC policies, state, federal, and local laws. Ensure high standards in service, room rates, and guest satisfaction from day one.
Manage day-to-day responsibilities such as revenue management, accounts payable, payroll, cash handling, and purchasing. Develop operating budgets with subordinate managers and Director of Operations. Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
Supervise 1-10 subordinate supervisors across Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, Front Desk, and Sales departments, totaling 10-250 employees. Provide leadership, hold weekly staff meetings, and schedule Manager on Duty system. Foster employee relations through recruitment, training, development, and benefits oversight.
Monitor local market changes and competitive trends, reporting to Director of Operations. Ensure compliance with franchise agreements, safety programs like MSDS and blood-borne pathogens, and timely resolution of guest complaints. Requirements
- At least 2 years' Full Service F&B Experience
- At least 3 years' Full Service GM Experience
- Experience managing subordinate supervisors in Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, Front Desk, and Sales Departments
- Knowledge of KHC policies, franchise agreements, and state, federal, local laws
- Proficiency in revenue management, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash handling
- Ability to oversee safety programs including MSDS, lock out tag out, and blood-borne pathogens
- Skills in recruitment, hiring, training, employee relations, and benefits administration
Responsibilities
- Reinforce standards for hotel personnel administration, performance, service to patrons, room rates, and compliance with policies and laws
- Oversee overall financial performance including Revenue Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Cash Handling, and Purchasing
- Develop and manage operating budgets in conjunction with subordinate managers and Director of Operations
- Ensure compliance with franchise agreements through inspections, reports, standards, and guest relations
- Monitor recruitment, hiring, training, development, orientation, and employee relations for all hotel staff
- Oversee safety training and programs including MSDS, lock out tag out, blood-borne pathogens, and fire procedures
- Hold weekly staff meetings and ensure department heads accountability for revenue and departmental meetings
- Inspect guests' rooms, public areas, and grounds; answer complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
