About this role
The Maintenance Technician performs unskilled and semi-skilled routine manual labor in the maintenance and repair of Black Hawk facilities, equipment, and grounds. Under supervision, you will learn to perform assigned activities with detailed instructions on specific procedures to be followed.
Day-to-day tasks include making routine plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets and drains, replacing light bulbs and fluorescent lights, and performing minor carpentry work like painting, installing doors, and adjusting shelving. You will also handle grounds-related work such as landscaping and snow removal, and set up and tear down for events in the Convention center.
You will respond to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision.
