About this role

This role supports the Ann Arbor area, performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks across multiple properties. You will handle everything from routine upkeep to emergency repairs, ensuring that all facilities remain safe, functional, and well-presented.

Your work will include drywall, carpentry, masonry, electrical, painting, and plumbing, as well as grounds maintenance. You will need to read and follow directions carefully while balancing multiple tasks each day.

You will work closely with clients and team members, requiring clear, efficient communication and excellent customer service skills. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential, as is the ability to stay punctual and self-motivated.

This position offers overtime pay for on-call emergency response, with compensation based on your skill level and experience. A drug test and background check are required for employment.

Requirements

Maintenance Technician experience: 1 year preferred
Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and a team player
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and team members
Strong customer service skills
Punctual and able to follow directions

Responsibilities

Perform all types of maintenance work including grounds maintenance, drywall, carpentry, masonry, electric, painting, and plumbing
Read and follow written directions to complete work orders accurately
Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and team members
Provide excellent customer service to residents and clients
Maintain punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts
Be available 24/7 for emergencies while on call, paid at overtime rate
