About this role

This role is responsible for managing the overall operations of a Qdoba restaurant, using discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for living the Brand values and helping the brand thrive. The General Manager focuses on developing a people and guest-centric culture that consistently delivers excellent guest service and food quality.

Day-to-day, you will maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitality by responding to guest questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. You will also train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance, ensuring systems for training employees are fully implemented and followed.

You will work with the leadership team to meet sales goals, maximize store sales goals versus budget, and oversee increasing catering sales. Managing food and labor costs, monitoring food inventory levels, and ordering product when necessary are key to driving profitable sales growth.

This role offers the opportunity to focus on developing long-term sales growth initiatives and to identify and develop internal candidates for management and Shift Lead positions. You will be responsible for the new hire life cycle including the interview and selection process, helping to reduce turnover and encourage employees to grow with the company.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to remain compliant with state and federal laws
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years QSR experience with 2+ years in a leadership position
  • Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; highly motivated and organized
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to recruit, hire, coach, train, and motivate employees
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs
  • Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
  • Manage food and labor costs, and monitor food inventory levels to order product when necessary
  • Execute company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for management and Shift Lead positions
