As Night Auditor at Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland, you will be the unsung hero of the hotel, thriving when most of the world is asleep. You are a jack (or jill) of all hospitality trades, and your night shift is when you are most productive.

You will anticipate the needs of late-night check-ins and lend a compassionate ear to jet-lagged travellers. As the first line of defence for any safety breach, you handle unexpected situations like a computer crash or medical emergency with grace and calm.

The day team relies on you as the anchor runner in the relay race, setting them up for success each morning. You function with an eagle eye for detail, ensuring everything checks out and balances before the next shift takes over.

Requirements

A jack (or jill) of all hospitality trades with experience in hotel operations
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for reconciling accounts and reports
Ability to stay calm and handle emergencies, from computer issues to medical incidents
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with late-night guests and support the day team
Self-motivated and productive during overnight hours when most of the world is asleep
Proven ability to anticipate guest needs and provide compassionate service

Responsibilities

Anticipate the needs of late-night check-ins and assist jet-lagged travellers with empathy
