About this role
As Duty Manager at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, you will ensure the smooth operational running of the hotel during your shift, acting as the primary point of contact for both guests and colleagues. You will oversee daily operations, anticipate guest needs, resolve incidents, and deliver an exceptional experience aligned with the hotel's luxury standards.
Your day-to-day involves maintaining a global vision of operations, facilitating interdepartmental communication, and tracking guest feedback to drive continuous improvement. You will review and classify reservations in advance, prepare VIP arrivals, and manage guest relations from welcome to farewell, ensuring every stay is memorable.
You will lead and train your team, fostering a positive work environment where energy and enthusiasm drive collective goals. Collaboration with other departments is key to executing seamless activities, from organizing transport to handling guest complaints with professionalism and protocol.
This role offers the opportunity to join one of southern Europe's finest luxury hotels, located in Ibiza, as part of a passionate team entering its ninth season. You will work with a professional international company in full growth, with the possibility of accommodation provided.
Requirements
- Knowledge of hotel services and their distribution.
- Familiarity with the hotel layout and surrounding areas.
- Understanding of restaurant services, rates, and Ibiza's local offerings.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to organize transportation for guests.
- Knowledge of legal aspects, company policies, dress code, and behavioral standards.
- Proficiency in safety and hygiene regulations.
- Skill in handling conflict situations, complaints, and claims with courtesy and protocol.
Responsibilities
- Review and classify reservation types and guest profiles in advance to send tailored mailings about the hotel and island experience.
- Propose and follow up on requests from both in-house and non-staying guests.
- Track in-house guests to obtain feedback during their stay and develop improvement plans.
- Train and lead the team under your supervision.
- Prepare VIP arrivals and special attentions.
- Welcome and bid farewell to guests managed by Guest Relations.
- Resolve incidents and guest complaints regarding services provided.
- Follow up with guests after their stay to ensure satisfaction.
