As a General Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks involving the physical plant to ensure a safe environment for our guests.

Your day-to-day work includes basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, pool maintenance, and fire alarm system upkeep. You will answer maintenance calls from guests and management, repair and re-key locks, change light bulbs, install tile and grouting, and assist with HVAC filter cleaning and replacement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Willingness to advance knowledge and learn skills through education and hands-on experience
  • Skill in basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC with ability to make necessary repairs
  • Knowledge of basic carpentry skills and basic audio visual and computer skills
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and meet productivity standards

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks involving basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Answer maintenance calls from guests and management and make necessary repairs
  • Perform basic fire alarm and fire sprinkler system maintenance
  • Repair and re-key locks on guestrooms, offices, and meeting rooms
  • Install, clean, and repair HVAC filters; perform basic pool and spa maintenance
  • Change light bulbs throughout the property; repair and install tile and grouting
  • Drive company vehicles safely, obeying all traffic laws and company policies
  • Respond to all fire calls and assist other facility employees as assigned by management
