The Aurora Group

Minehead, GB · Full-time · £30,000 – £30,000

About this role

Foxes Hotel at Aurora Foxes is a unique, fully operational hotel where young adults with SEND develop real hospitality, catering and housekeeping skills. Students serve guests, prepare food, and deliver experiences that people pay for and review publicly. The learning is real because the business is real.

Since going live on Booking.com, external bookings and commercial revenue have grown significantly. This growth enriches the quality and authenticity of students' experiences. A thriving hotel means more opportunities, higher standards and richer education.

As Deputy Hotel Manager, support the day-to-day running of Foxes Hotel and ensure exceptional guest experience. Take hands-on leadership confidently in the Hotel Manager’s absence. Oversee guest experience from enquiry to review and support occupancy and bookings including OTA platforms.

Maintain high standards across food, service and accommodation while supervising and training staff. Assist with rota planning and ensure strong compliance across food safety, health & safety and safeguarding. Work closely with Hospitality Programme Lead and SLT for safe, structured vocational learning opportunities.
