About this role

As a Guest Room Attendant at the Homestead Hampton Inn, you will clean and service assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards. Your primary focus is maintaining the highest levels of quality and cleanliness throughout each daily assignment.

Your day-to-day duties include handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, reporting any maintenance deficiencies, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. You will also complete additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled, and restock your cart at the end of each shift.

You will work as part of a hospitality team that observes all house and safety rules, room procedures, and security protocols. Flexibility is key, as you must be available for weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele

Responsibilities

  • Clean assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards
  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments
  • Observe all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures
  • Return and restock cart at end of shift
  • Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled
  • Report any maintenance deficiencies to management
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms
