Process linens promptly as directed to finish products properly for operating departments. Maintain working areas to housekeeping, sanitation, and maintenance standards. Operate laundry machinery per manufacturer specifications and respond quickly to concerns, escalating as needed.

Report to the Laundry Master and portray a positive image of Princess Cruises to guests, officers, and crew. Maintain professional relationships across functions, respecting cultural differences. Comply with Public Health requirements and all company policies.

Requirements

Must attend USPH and Sanitation courses and understand environmental rules
Must have complete command of the English language
Knowledge of laundry machinery operation and maintenance
Ability to handle linens and baggage physically
Commitment to company values, policies, and Public Health requirements
Experience maintaining sanitation and housekeeping standards in hospitality
Prompt and reliable timekeeping with accurate records

Responsibilities

Assist the Laundry Master in providing excellent laundry service while maintaining cost efficiency
Provide valet processing and service to the required company standard
Process linens promptly as directed to ensure proper finish and timely readiness
Perform embarkation duties including collecting, stowing, loading, and distributing guest baggage
Maintain working area to housekeeping, sanitation, and maintenance standards
Respond promptly to resolve concerns, escalating to the Laundry Master as appropriate
Operate laundry machinery in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Perform General Emergency Organization duties as directed
