About this role
This role is the first point of contact for guests at the Indigo Hotel in Atlanta, ensuring a warm and efficient check-in and check-out experience. You will be responsible for managing reservations, posting charges, and handling all front office transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
Day-to-day duties include greeting guests cordially, assisting with pre-registration and room blocking, and processing cash, checks, and credit card payments. You will also handle same-day reservations, follow cancellation procedures, and manage guest requests with a prompt and courteous attitude.

Requirements

- Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel.
- Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
- Promptly, accurately, and efficiently post all charges to guest accounts.
- Maintain complete working knowledge of the Front Office computer system, including all daily transactions.
- Accurately manage cash handling, including receiving cash, checks, and credit card information from guests.
- Review reservations with special requests and work to block rooms accordingly.
- Have working knowledge of hotel rates, discounts, and how to handle each.
- Take same-day reservations efficiently, aiming for a 2-minute process, and follow cancellation and relocation procedures.
