About this role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carpentry, painting, event set up and take downs, miscellaneous minor electrical work and minor plumbing repairs. This role ensures all building property is properly maintained and performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas.
Daily tasks include furniture moving, arrangement, and placement of equipment, frequent checks of all areas, and reporting faults. The technician also installs and repairs door closers, thresholds, drywall, wall covering, carpet, light electrical, ceiling tile, light plumbing, painting, and floor tile.
This position supports assigned buildings within a hospitality or hotel environment, responding effectively to all emergencies and preparing summary reports on conditions found. The technician must comply with all safety procedures and maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes or Laws.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
- At least one (1) year experience supporting mission critical environments.
- Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill, and competence in areas outside primary expertise.
- Ability to operate and perform both routine and emergency service on a variety of state-of-the-art critical systems.
- Knowledge and experience using basic computer applications.
- Active state-issued driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to support afterhours building-related activities and attend periodic training.
Responsibilities

- Conduct frequent checks of all areas and report any faults using the correct procedure.
- Install and repair door closers, thresholds, drywall, wall covering, carpet, light electrical, ceiling tile, light plumbing, painting, and floor tile.
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
- Respond effectively to all emergencies and support any afterhours building related activity as required.
- Prepare and submit summary reports listing conditions found and recommend actions to be taken.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and recognize danger and safety hazards.
- Safeguard all company and client assets and electronic devices in your possession.
