About this role

Our team is looking to add an upbeat Front Desk Agent to manage all aspects of front desk operations and be a key person of reference for our guests and vendors. This role requires professionalism, courtesy, and outstanding communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Daily duties include checking guests in and out, processing all payments according to established hotel requirements, and providing information and assistance to guests and vendors. You will also prepare necessary reports during each shift for the management team.

This position requires flexible scheduling availability and the ability to work well in stressful situations. You will work closely with a motivated team, being readily available and approachable while delivering excellent guest service.

Requirements

  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • Must be effective in handling problems including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems
  • Ability to work well in stressful situations
  • Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
  • Flexible scheduling availability including weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in using hotel property management systems

Responsibilities

  • Check-in and check-out hotel guests
  • Process all payments according to established hotel requirements
  • Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors
  • Prepare all necessary reports during each shift for the management team
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Maintain guest accounts and ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for guest requests
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
