About this role

As a Maintenance Technician I at Travel + Leisure Co., you will help put the world on vacation by ensuring each unit and building at Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza Resort is in perfect working order. This role combines hands-on maintenance skills with a customer service focus to create dream vacations for our guests.

Your day-to-day involves performing general facility maintenance under supervision, including painting, appliance repair, minor electrical work, and carpentry. You will also handle service requests, make-ready units, and repair general fixtures such as doors, windows, walls, and floors.

Beyond indoor tasks, you will maintain the outside landscape by emptying and picking up trash, and performing general landscape work. You will also clean and inspect building systems, reporting any deficiencies to your supervisor while adhering to the company’s safety programs.

Responsibilities

Perform all general facility maintenance under supervision to ensure optimum quality and efficient production
Complete service requests and repairs including painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, and carpentry
Execute maintenance work for make-ready units as directed
Apply basic knowledge to repair and replace doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry
Clean and maintain outside landscape including emptying trash, picking up litter, and general landscape work
Clean and inspect building systems and report deficiencies to the supervisor
Adhere to the company’s safety programs at all times
