About this role

First impressions count, and as a Guest Service Agent at IHG, you will kick off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes. Your role is to make transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home.

Every day is different, but you will be acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone. You will take, manage, and receive payments for guest bookings, and make the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless.

Staying one step ahead of our guests’ needs, you will anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations. As our guests’ trusted contact, you will help with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations, turning issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills to handle guest concerns and compliments with ease
  • Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities and ensure great memories
  • Fluency in the local language; extra language skills are a plus but not essential
  • Literate and tech-savvy with a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills
