About this role

This role ensures all equipment and work areas remain clean, neat, and orderly at all times. You will bring a positive attitude and a love for FUN while handling a wide range of highly complex and challenging duties throughout the hotels with extreme care and focused attention.

Safety is the number one priority; you will wear appropriate PPE and follow SDS instructions. Daily tasks include operating simple machine tools like drill presses and power saws, recognizing equipment needing repair, and responding to emergency calls within the hotels as directed by the maintenance supervisor.

You will work as part of a team and serve as a liaison with fellow maintenance MCs and other departments. The role requires flexible availability around the resort during peak and nonpeak times, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work outdoors in any weather condition.

You will stay informed on modern techniques by attending department training, supplemental courses, and seminars. This position primarily works evenings and weekends, ensuring all assigned work is completed with good sound workmanship while advising supervisors of any equipment discrepancies. You will also ensure compliance with internal maintenance, safety, and security procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Experience in basic painting, plumbing, drywall repair and patching, electrical, and carpentry.
Ability to work outdoors in any weather condition.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and long distances.
Flexible availability around the resort, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude and love for FUN.
Demonstrated flexibility to handle a wide range of highly complex and challenging duties with extreme care and focused attention.

Responsibilities

Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly at all times.
Keep safety as the number one priority by wearing appropriate PPE and following SDS instructions.
Operate simple machine tools such as drill presses, power saws, grinders, and hand tools.
Recognize equipment that needs repair, replacing, or adjusting and report it to the supervisor.
Respond to emergency calls within the hotels for repairs and maintenance as directed.
Perform basic painting, plumbing, drywall repair and patching, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
Attend department training, supplemental courses, and seminars to stay updated on technical information.
Advise the working supervisor and/or management of any discrepancies in equipment or tools.
