About this role

Work effectively as part of the housekeeping service team to provide efficient and courteous service. You will be primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests. This role is essential to ensuring every guest enjoys a spotless and welcoming environment.

Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, including vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash and dirty linen. Complete pre-cleaning duties such as setting up housekeeping carts with supplies and linen. Report any maintenance issues or lost items following proper procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a housekeeping service team.
  • Commitment to providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to conduct oneself professionally at all times.
  • Willingness to attend pre-shift meetings and participate in required meetings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a guest-focused mindset.
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning standards and procedures.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
  • Vacuum cleaning and dusting the rooms to ensure spotless condition.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
  • Report all missing items from guestrooms following standard procedures.
  • Input real-time assessments via KYC and convey guest opportunities with clarity.
  • Greet, welcome and acknowledge all guests by name, responding courteously and professionally.
  • Anticipate and understand guests’ service needs and respond urgently to concerns.
