About this role
The Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of the community. They are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the property grounds, facilities, streets, amenities, equipment, and various utility systems.
Day-to-day tasks include picking up trash and debris, replacing lightbulbs, painting, and performing minor repairs. The role also involves assisting with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, distributing notices, and completing inspections as needed.
The Maintenance Technician coordinates with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day. They work to protect the property owner's investment by anticipating, identifying, and correcting safety or maintenance issues in the community.

Requirements

- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of the community
- Pick up any trash or debris observed on the property while performing normal duties
- Replace lightbulbs, remove trash and litter, paint, and perform repairs to ensure upkeep of community appearance
- Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, distribution of notices, and inspections as needed
- Complete minor repairs to utility systems and streets as needed
- Maintain grounds and landscaping to community standards, including mowing and weeding
- Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and amenities such as clubhouse, basketball courts, swimming pools, and maintenance garage
