About this role

The Fleet Traveling Hotel General Manager is a critical shipboard leadership role responsible for supporting, developing, and elevating the performance of Hotel General Managers and Associate Hotel General Managers across the fleet. This position ensures consistent delivery of an exceptional guest experience aligned with Princess MedallionClass technology, brand standards, corporate culture, and shared purpose. It involves global travel to ships for hands-on oversight.

Daily efforts focus on monitoring Net Promoter Score performance and providing strategic guidance to elevate guest satisfaction. Maintain a high onboard presence by actively interacting with guests and teammates to address issues impacting the experience. Collaborate with shipboard and shoreside leaders to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Work within a dynamic team environment on Princess Cruises' fleet of Love Boats, hailing from over 60 countries. Promote visible, engaged leadership encouraging officer involvement at all levels. Review guest service trends and post-cruise complaints to identify opportunity areas with hotel leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven shipboard leadership experience in hotel operations on cruise vessels
  • Deep knowledge of guest experience metrics including Net Promoter Score
  • Expertise in Princess MedallionClass technology and applications
  • Strong background in hospitality service excellence and brand standards
  • Ability to travel globally across the fleet supporting multiple ships
  • Experience mentoring senior hotel management teams
  • Familiarity with cruise revenue optimization and operational checklists
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement in guest services

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate Net Promoter Score performance across ships and provide strategic guidance to hotel leadership teams
  • Ensure shipboard teams fully utilize Princess MedallionClass products, services, and applications
  • Mentor and assess hotel leadership teams to strengthen accountability and service delivery
  • Maintain a high onboard presence interacting with guests and teammates to address issues
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of product delivery, service, and revenue performance on under-performing vessels
  • Evaluate performance of Hotel General Managers and Associate Hotel General Managers with feedback
  • Temporarily assume duties of a Hotel General Manager when required
  • Lead daily meetings with hotel leadership during ship visits to address findings and action plans
