We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support multiple locations throughout Northern New Jersey. This position is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and performing a wide variety of building repairs and facility maintenance tasks.

You will travel between locations daily to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, professional, and well-maintained. Daily duties include troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and painting issues, as well as performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

You will work independently with support from a team environment that values reliability and problem-solving. The role offers company-provided tools and supplies, plus mileage reimbursement for travel between sites.

Requirements

4+ years of maintenance, facilities, building, property, or handyman experience
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel between locations throughout the region

Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance and repairs across multiple locations
Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and painting issues
Conduct routine facility inspections and complete preventive maintenance tasks
Repair doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, and equipment
Install and assemble office furniture and equipment
Coordinate repairs with outside vendors and contractors
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and maintain work orders
Travel between multiple locations daily to identify and correct safety concerns
